Top NYC Museums

We all know that NYC has a huge array of museums to offer visitors, from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, to MOMA, the Guggenheim and other, more specific art museums, however, don't forget about cultural museums like the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. It documents how over 12 million lower class passengers went through customs there (including legal and medical inspection) between the years of 1890 and 1950.
Recently it was turned into a museum to document the immigration experience. Another popular choice is the American Museum of Natural History. With massive collections covering human culture, nature, and the universe - from dinosaurs onwards here there is something for everyone. Like the Met, you can see it all in one visit, but check out the website to see which exhibits are the most popular and find out what's going on when you visit.
