Create a Computer Workspace
Do you work on the computer? If yes, here are some tips to create a comfortable computer-based work space in your home or office. A well-designed workspace will not only help you organize and perform better at your job, it will improve your health and physical well-being. You'll remain better-focused and help avoid back and neck pain from straining. To begin, select a comfortable chair that offers the support you need. Make sure you can adjust the chair to help take stress and tension off your body.
Now choose your desk and arrange your computer(s) on it so that they are all at eye-level. Position your chair and computer/keyboard so that your forearms rest comfortably on the table. Choose an ergonomic keyboard if possible and adjust it so that your arms and wrists rest comfortably. Select a mouse that is comfortable for your hand and position it so that you have ample space to move it. Finally, place yourself in the chair and make sure that everything is at the right height and distance, make any last minute adjustments. Remember to keep the temperature of your office at a comfortable level and not too cold as the air conditioner will block your muscles.
