Organic Tomatoes For Better Health
The humble tomato has recently been recognized for its quality to reduce the risk or cardiovascular disease and tumours. This is especially true for organic tomatoes, who have a micro-fungus that is very beneficial, much like that found in the human intestine. Tomatoes contain: Ascorbic acid, vitamin E, antioxidants and they offer support to the hormonal metabolism and immune system.
However, the nutritional value of the tomatoes is greatly influenced by the conditions its cultivated in. If it's grown in natural conditions without the use of pesticides and herbicides, the tomato is richer in Calcium, Potassium, Phosphorous, and Zinc than tomatoes grow in industrial agriculture. This doesn't even take into account the taste of an organic tomato that is grown at it's own pace under the sun! There's just nothing like it.
