Apple Obsession
Apple products have been dominating the technological market for over a decade now. The first generation iPod already seems like an artifact of a long lost civilization. Now Apple laptops, namely the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air, have become consumer favorites and often considered a must-have device. Apple software has revolutionized not only the way that we organize our day-to-day lives, but also how we communicate with one another. Applications like FaceTime allow people to have video chat calls with their iPhones, and other applications that utilize an available WiFi network allow people to make free calls and send free text messages to friends and family anywhere in the world.
The possibilities that these applications provide have become endless, and for the millions of people who have iPhones, it may even seem impossible to do without. What started out as a fascination with that simple, compact mp3 player has snowballed into an obsession with limitless devices. Apple seems to always be one step ahead, but now that their success has nearly given them a monopoly of the market, other companies have been stepping up to provide the same technology at more competitive prices. There is no telling how smart the next generation of smart phone or tablet could be.
