Delicious Fudge Without the Junk Factor
Did you know it's possible to enjoy delicious oozy-gooey fudge without flour and refined white sugar? You can have the best of chocolate deliciousness and none of the bad side-effects for your health or waistline. If you are used to traditional fudge, the ingredients may surprise you, but give it a try because these are delicious. Start with 500 grams of almond butter, raw or roasted, as you prefer. Make sure it's well blended, then add a quarter cup of cocoa powder, mix until well incorporated.
To sweeten you'll need to add half a cup of honey and if you have it a tablespoon of coconut oil to the mix (in liquid form). The coconut oil will only make the healthy fat level better and make it a bit more silky. To add some more flavor, scrape in some vanilla bean seeds or add a teaspoon or more of extract. To really make the flavor sing, put in some sea salt. Now transfer it into a dish and spread it out well with a spoon. Freeze for 24 hours then cut your squares as needed, they will melt immediately when in contact with your fingers.
